Parents!

This year’s main fundraiser is the Bella Mente Leopard Fun Run! It’s a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on October 30th. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on November 8th. With our big goal of raising $200,00 for computers!

Students will also experience an amazing character theme, CASTLE QUEST! an English castle theme all about being brave and living with character. On their quest to regain Bravemore Castle, students will learn the “SIX VIRTUES of a TRUE HERO” from a cast of colorful characters.

All families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run on November 8th! Thank you for your support!

Join the Celebration on October 4!

Join students, families, school leaders, community partners and mayors around the country on October 4 to celebrate the benefits of walking to school during International Walk to School Day.

Gift Cards from Starbucks will be passed out to the 1st 25 walking families. (Limit: 1 per family).

We will have fruit for students on a first come first walk & bike basis. So lace up those sneakers and strap on those helmets and let's take a step towards a healthier lifestyle.

Mr. Hank's Corner

Wednesday October 4th is Walk and Bike to School Day.

If your children or students are thinking of riding their bikes to school or skateboarding, remind them the importance of wearing a helmet. Volunteers will be handing out certificates to participants.

It is the start of a new month and this is a good time to start developing some new habits or a change in your lifestyle. Remember it takes 21 days to create a habit and 90 days to create a lifestyle. Life is full of stresses and things that can bog us down if you allow them however, life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass but learning how to dance in the rain.
