Mr. Hank's Corner 10/23/17

This is a short week however we are celebrating Red Ribbon Week here at school. I like keep Red Ribbon Week more about just creating and continuing a healthy lifestyle. Here are some of the activities for Red Ribbon Week:

  • Monday: Making RRW Posters and reflection writing on making your life healthier.

  • Tuesday: Pack a healthy RED snack in your lunchbox and look to get a “Red Thumbs Up".

  • Wednesday: Whole School Red Out! Students and Staff can wear anything RED.

REMEMBER TO EAT BREAKFAST: Eating breakfast can help improve math, reading, and standardized test scores.Children who eat breakfast are more likely to behave better in school and get along with their peers than those who do not. Children who eat school breakfast are likely to have fewer absences and incidents of tardiness than those who do not. Eating breakfast as a child is important for establishing healthy habits for later in life. School Breakfast provides 1⁄4 recommended amounts of protein, calcium, iron, vitamin A, and vitamin C for the day. Join us for breakfast down at The Bella Cafe and sign up for breakfast to get your day rolling in the right direction. https://topnotchcatering.orderlunches.com/access.php
