Mr. Hank's Corner 9/17/18

On September 20, 2018 will be the first night of “Cooking it up with Mr. Hank.” These evenings will be a great way to come out with your child and experience something that tends to get lost in today’s society; cooking and dining together. With so many families constantly on the go from work to team practice and having to commute for work time becomes a factor in spending valuable time together in the kitchen and at the dinner table and unfortunately slow food values tend to get lost.

So with that said we at BMMA believe people should experience time together in the kitchen and together at the dinner table enjoying both food and conversation. This night is also a great way for families to get to know one another and hopefully make lifelong connections.

Now what is on the menu for this first “Sold Out” class you may ask? How about a Red & Golden Beet Carpaccio with a Basil Vinaigrette and a classic Tomato Insalata but made into a sandwich with a homemade Modena Vinegar glaze. These vegetarian style plates are spins on some classics with my hopes that both you and your children will want to make simple changes towards better health. Classes are run off of a suggested donation to help with food costs and also continue supporting both our garden and nutrition program.

Here are the sign up links for the next two events on October 25 and November 29th. Sign ups for 2019 to come later so keep an eye open.
